Nonsense on Ice Podcast Launched by Doug Plagens

Did you know that longtime Florida Panthers’ radio play-by-play announcer is one of us?  Doug Plagens, who is also known for his spots on the NHL Network and his viral in-booth videos of his iconic goal calls and Stanley Cup winning calls, is also a sports card collector!  If you follow him on social media, you’ll see him doing pre-game pack breaks where he’ll open a pack of hockey cards in the booth before he goes on the air!

During the off-season, he can be found set up as a dealer at a local card show or two in South Florida, and sometimes pops in as a visitor when his busy schedule allows during the season.  He has also worked with some of the card companies in the past to break/promote their products, and his newest card-related venture is a podcast titled “Nonsense on Ice,” as part of the Sports Cards Nonsense Media Network.

The debut episode just dropped today, and we invite you to check it out and subscribe to catch his future episodes!
